Princess Charlotte Christened In Same Church Princess Diana Was Baptized.
Prince William and Kate Middleton watched over their little girl at the ceremony as her two-year-old brother Prince George nearly stole the show- again!
Much of the rest of the royal family were there including William’s father Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, and his grandparents, the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh, as well as Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton

Charlotte’s uncle Prince Harry was notably absent but only because he is currently in Nambia working with the Nature Conservancy.
Both the location and ceremony were steeped in tradition. The church was the same church that Charlotte’s late grandmother Princess Diana was baptized in back in 1961, while the buggy Charlotte was pushed in was used by Queen Elizabeth for her children, Princes Edward and Andrew.
Charlotte even wore the same historic gown George wore at his christening.
Prince George’s look was also a throwback -he wore a pair of short red trousers and a white top, an outfit very similar to the one his father wore as a child on his first visit to meet newborn Harry at the hospital back in 1984.
Even more adorable? Little George peeking at his baby sister in her carriage!
After weeks of whispering, Kensington Palace confirmed the names of Charlotte’s godparents. Prince Harry is not among the five names — but, don’t worry, its not a snub! He is already a godparent to Prince George, who has seven godparents.
Who did make the cut for Charlotte? Sophie Carter, James Meade, Adam Middleton, Lady Laura Fellowes, and Thomas van Straubenzee. Royal super fans know that Carter, Meade and van Straubenzee are close pals of the Duke and Duchess, while Middleton is Kate’s cousin. Choosing Lady Fellowes was a touching tribute to William’s late mother as she is Princess Diana’s niece.
