This September, 100% Design London, the UK’s largest design trade show celebrates its 21st edition in a brand new home, Olympia London. Staged in the dramatic Grand and West Halls, the show will take place across two levels and benefit from natural light, enhanced facilities and five distinct sections within 100% Design will include Interiors, Design & Build, Kitchens & Bathrooms, Workplace and Emerging Brands.
Based upon the central theme ‘Design in Colour’, 100% Design will showcase the top colour trends for 2016 throughout the show as a means to demonstrate the importance of colour and to navigate the show. To complement this, the award-winning 100% Design website fully embraces colour, providing an opportunity to search exhibitor products in each of the selected colours.
100% DESIGN at the London Design Festival
The London Design Festival was conceived by Sir John Sorrell and Ben Evans. Building on London’s existing design activity, their concept was to create an annual event that would promote the city’s creativity, drawing in the country’s greatest thinkers, practitioners, retailers and educators to a deliver an unmissable celebration of design.
100% Design is the largest design trade event in the UK, taking place on 23-26 September 2015 during the London Design Festival in new venue Olympia. 100% Design is the commercial cornerstone event of the London Design Festival. The award-winning layout of the show is defined by four key industry sections; Interiors, Workplace, Kitchen & Bathrooms and Design & Build. New for 2015 are the Luxury and Modern British sections.

The show also features specially commissioned editorial hubs across the floors. Topped off by the critically acclaimed Talks with 100% Design programme running across the four days of the show, 100% Design is a diverse, inspirational design experience. Connecting designers, brands and manufacturers of innovative, inspiring and commercially contemporary interior products with architects and interior designers specifying on UK and international projects.
Exhibitors are carefully selected, reflecting the show’s focus on design quality, innovation and relevance to the architecture and design community. Used as an influential platform, the show saw over 1,000 new products launched at the show in 2014. These companies and products, alongside a comprehensive roster of the best media and specialist industry partners, contribute to make 100% Design an essential destination.
2015 Emerging Brands
Like every year, 100% Design 2015 will have an Emerging Brands section presenting UK’s strongest platform for newly established design talent, packed with innovative & fresh ideas.
New to the show in 2015 are fashion designer Iona Crawford (Stand EB660) and architect Natalia Geci (Stand EB568). Iona Crawford’s designs are inspired by nature’s vast beauty and her handcrafted lampshades are made using British cloth and exquisite craftsmanship. Natalia Geci will present a new collection of Nomadic furniture, created to fill the needs of her own nomadic family
Based in South Korea, Studio EJ (Stand EB768) is run by designer EJ Pak. Pak will bring her new collection of metal sculptural side tables to the show. Also new to 100% Design, Wood Melbourne (Stand EB462) from Australia will be showcasing a range of timber, concrete and brass bathroom fittings that provide a warm and natural alternative to the traditional aesthetic. Each piece is designed and handmade in the company’s Melbourne workshop to exceptional levels of craftsmanship.
Having just been awarded the 100% Design New Designers Award and as part of his prize, Mu Hau Kao will exhibit his winning piece in the Emerging Brands section. Mu Hau Kao’s Ply stool stood out as an example of experimentation and commitment to a simple, practical and commercially primed design.
Other Emerging Brands include Fusionsense (Stand EB564), hamajimatakuya (Stand EB666), In-Spaces (Stand EB460), MACRW Co (Stand EB261), Parkes Design Company (Stand EB568), Paula Cawthorne Design (Stand EB361), Sarah Brown (Stand EB368), Thora Björk Design (Stand EB668) and University of Central Lancashire (Stand EB769).
